The injection molding process is roughly divided into the following 6 stages:
Mold clamping, injection, pressure holding, cooling, mold opening, and product ejection.
The above process is repeated to produce products in batches periodically. The molding of thermosetting plastics and rubber also involves the same process, but the barrel temperature is lower than that of thermoplastics, while the injection pressure is higher. The mold is heated, and after the material is injected into the mold, it needs to go through a curing or vulcanization process, and then is demolded while hot.
